Why I Started Voida

I wasn’t chasing hype.
I wasn’t chasing trends. I was chasing respect —For my father’s craft, For my own freedom, And for the people who believe clothing should have soul.
I’m a final-year student. Like everyone else, I had options. A job, a salary, a safer path.
But I also had a truth.
That I didn’t want to clock in to a cubicle while my father worked quietly at his machine. That I didn’t want to ignore the compliments people gave me about the clothes I wore — because every one of them came from my dad’s hands.
That I wasn’t meant to just survive — I was meant to build something.
Voida isn’t a startup.
It’s not a project. It’s a promise.
A promise to carry my family’s legacy into a new era. A promise to create clothing that speaks without shouting. A promise to never forget where I come from, even when I grow.
It started with one shirt. One compliment. One belief that this could be more.
And now…Voida is here. For those who want to wear purpose. For those who believe in quiet confidence. And for every person who’s ever dreamed of turning struggle into style.
Voida was never Plan B. It was always the plan —stitched slowly in silence, waiting for the right time to say: Let’s do this.
